Jacklyn Cohen

Jacklyn Cohen

To simply say that Jacklyn is a user-experience researcher and strategist is not enough. With a portfolio and a list of accomplishments of someone twice her age, it’s no wonder Jacklyn is one of the premier UX professionals in the industry today. She recently wrapped up two high-profile projects with Turner Broadcasting, acting as Lead UX Designer for both. She managed the redesign of their web-based media deal proposal system, as well as led the creation of a custom-built traffic system module, both of which were huge successes.

Jacklyn previously served as the Director of UX Strategy at Nine Labs, leading and defining user research, developing research methods, and conducting qualitative research studies, to name a few of her accomplishments. She also worked at Coca-Cola, defining and developing effective research methods and other processes for digital user experiences.

In her spare time, Jacklyn serves on the “Ladies That UX” global leadership team, mentoring several LTUX city volunteers at a time. She is a mentor at Career Foundry, and a workshop instructor at General Assembly. Jacklyn is a firm believer that educating future leaders is just as important as eating your greens, and she advocates engineering and user-experience career paths to the young women she meets. You can also find her on the competitive dance floor or walking the Beltline with her dog.
